Movie Review

The Road to Guantanamo
I saw this movie today. I thought the film was very well done. When you see the torture that these guys have been put through, it really puts things into perspective for you. The United States has created a nightmare throughout the world, the impact of which we will feel for generations.

PTCruiser gives this film..........I wish I had more hands, I'd give it four thumbs up.

Check out the official movie website here. I feel the need to make more freeway signs after having seen it. It's no wonder these people despise us so much. We've got a deplorable record when it comes to dealing with our fellow human beings.

I always thought that these were the kind of things that America was supposed to be protecting the world from. (hanging my head in shame)

The Shrub and his boyz have the nads to bitch about any other countrys human rights abuses, they should be struck dead on the spot..seriously..we have no room to talk. I know some of the people detained will never be released until the war is over..ala the japanese during the big war..but we must treat them with dignity and stop the torture...we can not lower our standards to the same level as the terrorists..

I would really like to wire Dick Cheneys ball right about now..that bag of shit.

I agree with John, everyone should be hanging their head in shame, especially those who voted for bush in 04.

While we watched our country became the world's nightmare.

That was really nice of the US government to give those fellas a free caribbean vacation. I bet the movie forgot to thank the American taxpayers for covering their airfare to Cuba.

Yeah, they totally glossed over that part, Butchie.

Thanks for sharing PT. Just the preview made me cry. Parts of it were FAR too reminiscant of other "camps" and I think you all know which camps I speak of.

We think the Holocaust just began when they gassed the Jews, but it didn't. We HAVE to stop this madness being propegated in OUR name, before the Muslims become OUR generations Jews. PERIOD.

Lady Celtic Fire,

I had not thought about it in those terms. Interesting point. An awful point. A sad point.

Have not seen it, PT, but will plan to.
