I've seen the Buttholes on several occasions, back when they had two drummers and the dancer. One time in Ann Arbor, I had the good fortune of taking a leak next to Gibby in the basement of St. Andrew's Hall.

My introduction to the Surfers was their first LP on Alternative Tentacles Records, which included a great tune (greatly titled), "The Revenge of Anus Presley". I bought "Hairway to Steven" a couple of years back for two reasons... the NAME of the CD absolutely cracks me up, and the cover art sends me into hysterics. Long live this mighty band.
