Bushism of the Week
"And there is distrust in Washington. I am surprised, frankly, at the amount of distrust that exists in this town. And I'm sorry it's the case, and I'll work hard to try to elevate it."
--George W. Bush, interview on National Public Radio, Jan. 29, 2007

that has to sting
He listens to no one but god and the evil old shooter. We all know that. But quotes like this prove he doesn't even listen to himself. If he did, he would correct ignorant statements like that. Everyone can mess up like that but most of us hear ourselves and immediately correct the error.
Or just maybe he intended to say it because it's true.
Have a fun weekend!
That doofus.
Can we say Freudian slip?
ah yes -- the man's knowledge of our spoken language shins again...
oh wait -- maybe he was serious?
ah yes, if we are to go by his past actions -- asshole is serious!!
Oh, oh. Okay, this is a bit off topic, I know, but a story I came in on the middle of on CNN just finished, and among the names--can't be sure--anyway, the names Howard K. Stern, Larry Birkhead, Prince Frederick von Anhalt, I thought I heard "---T Cruiser" in the growing list of those claiming to have sired Anna Nicole's daughter, Danielynn???!!!
Or did I just hear that wrong? Would you care to respond before this rumor becomes the latest wildfire on the major news networks?
Never mind that Tony Snow said we have "no plans to invade Iran" but that he failed to say, "we have no plans to BOMB Iran."
More curious minds want to know if it's our own PT Cruiser who has joined the growing queue of fathers of baby Danielynn!
The rumors on the "internets" of my affair with Anna Nicole have been grossly exaggerated. I did not have sexual real-lations with that woman.
I'd say that speech is one in which the Prez kept his word - he elevated distrust to a new level and he earned every bit of it.
Ah George...the never-ending source of zingers!
He really doesn't lie if you listen closely. That is how he can rationalize it. His life is just one days facade after another.
that is awesome.
That billboard in freaking funny! If it is true that you went with Anna, that's bragging rights. Just tell everyone that you are not uber-rich, so you know what she was after then ;)
That should get you some attention!
I cannot wait for the day when I no longer have to hear the confused babblings that eminate from that baboon's mouth. . .
human, i got your back on that one. They've raised parsing the truth to a science.
nevermind what they've done to science...
"elevate"! You go, George! You are the best incompetent president ever...
My computer crashed. Can't even blame it on Vonage this time. Grrrr. Be back to posting soon, I hope.
Good Gawd PT, you post one pic of that idiot son of an idiot and your puter gets sick. Can't blame the puter for getting ill though!
Idiot's Rule...
Hey, PT..great billboard.
That's what I call truth in advertising.
I can't believe that you would pick on George W Bush.
ROFL!!!
he speaks the truth!!
Dude! You realize how discouragin' this is for the rest of us? You live in Silicon Valley and your computer crashed??!!
What hope does that leaves us poor tech-challenged bastards living in Kansas??!!
Oh lord, let us pray when you finally return, we learn you were on vacation in Hawaii for three weeks.
