Stick a Fork In It

If you have any dead horses that need to be beaten, I've got just the guy for ya.

Brian Sussman, part-time local San Francisco radio talk show gasbag and full-time racist, hate-mongering homophobe, decided to dedicate five full days of air time to the Cynthia McKinney story taking place in Washington D.C..

Why so much time on one story? Well, for one thing, she's a black woman in a position of leadership. For another, she has the distinction of being a Democrat. And if that wasn't enough, way back in April of 2002, Representative McKinney was quoted as saying, "I am not aware of any evidence showing that President Bush or members of his administration have personally profited from the attacks of 9-11. A complete investigation might reveal that to be the case."

Oh, and she hit a cop. Brian loves cops. Not in a gay way or anything like that. In fact, Brian only loves cops who are, to the best of his knowledge, heterosexual.

I am secure in my masculinity.

If you'd like to learn more about Brian Sussman, Spocko'sBrain has some really good posts on what an ass he is.

Wonder if I could go into the business of beating (metaphorically) other people's "dead horses" for them?

You know travel about the country, boardrooms, offices, homes and just take the subject that they (whomever) is tired of talking about or a subject that they have gotten death threats over if they don't shut up about it! ?

I could fill that void quite easily!

As a matter of fact I could stop beating this particular "dead horse" right about now

Well, they are grasping at straws so they can piss about something. The rest of the news this week has chewed on their asses.

poetryman, I can see a bright enterpreneurial future for you there.

PoP, that's very true. I can't imagine a worse week they've had news-wise. (But it sure turned out to be a great week for us liberals, didn't it?)

I like the way you tell it like it is without cutting either of them undue slack ... I went to the website ... is that real ... the video just shows a cop coming up to check out someone filming the security ... and then immediately apologizing to her when he recognizes her ... if that is the type of serious confrontation she has had to live with ... then wow ... she really is being persecuted, I guess ... don't get me wrong ... I know that the nation has plenty of racist cops and plenty of shitty cops, but not all are bad ... the video does a good job of showing that there isn't much documentation anyway to support a claim of harassment ...

And LadyCF as Secretary of Peace. That sounds like a winning ticket there.

Rory, I'm sure that what we saw in that video is but a mere taste of what confrontation this woman has had to put up with in her life. And will continue to have to endure for the rest of her life.
