Terrorist Plot Thwarted

Thanks to the joint efforts of U.S. Customs and the NSA, we can all sleep a little more soundly tonight knowing that international terrorist Grant Goodman's plot to destroy the United States has been foiled.

Goodman, an 81 year old retired professor from the University of Kansas was caught red-handed when the letter, sent to him by a longtime friend of his from the Philippines, was intercepted and cavity-searched by federal agents.

The letter of mass destruction reportedly contained several innocuous news clippings and a personal note. But, it could have been something really scary or dangerous, you know.

When he's not busy playing Bingo or taking naps at the retirement community in Lawrence, Kansas where he lives, Goodman spends his free hours plotting total global domination along with the help of his trusty sidekick in the Philippines.

Speaking of personal notes, why not take the time to send your own personal note to George W. Bush and let him know how thankful you are that he's not going to let any legal mumbo-jumbo get in the way of spying on Americans like us.

Oh, and if you click on the evil-doer's picture in the upper corner there, you can watch the CNN footage of their interview with him.(If you have pop-up blocker, you'll have to turn it off to view the video). Take a good look at his beady eyes while you're watching it and just imagine what horrors might have taken place if this letter had not been detected.
