Pat Robertson Pleased With God's Wrath

On Thursday, Right-Wing Christian Extremist Pat Robertson stated that Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon's massive stroke was God's way of punishing him for surrendering parts of the Gaza Strip to the Palestinians.

"Crazy Pat" as all 700 of his Club members affectionately call him, had another divine message from God, as you may remember, back in August of 2005 when he recommended assasination for Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez by saying, "We have the ability to take him out, and I think the time has come that we exercise that ability. We don't need another $200 billion war to get rid of one, you know, strong-arm dictator. It's a whole lot easier to have some of the covert operatives do the job and then get it over with."

It makes me feel a whole lot better knowing that this nation has embraced Christianity and fully stands behind the smiting of evil leaders like Sharon and Chavez.

In a recent poll, 9 out of 10 Venezuelans agreed that Pat Robertson should be sent to Iraq to show Iraqis what type of religious leadership they can expect after 230 years of "democracy".

The funny part is that he considers Sharon a friend. I like the idea of sending him to Iraq but can't we just leave him there?
