Warning: American Stupidity is Highly Contagious

Bush Is Greeted Warmly in Albania
By SHERYL GAY STOLBERG, New York Times

TIRANA, Albania, June 10 — His poll numbers may be in the tank at home, but when he zipped through this tiny, relentlessly pro-American nation today, President Bush was received like a rock star.

Military cannons boomed a 21-gun-salute in his honor. Thousands jammed Scanderbeg Square in downtown Tirana, wearing Uncle Sam top hats in the sweltering sun, hoping to glimpse the presidential motorcade. The superlatives flowed so freely that Mr. Bush looked a tad sheepish when Prime Minister Sali Berisha proclaimed him “the greatest and most distinguished guest we have ever had in all times.”
Full story here.

No need to worry, readers. I've already notified the World Health Organization and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. There still may be time to save this little country from turning into the world-destroying monster that my own nation has become. Although, judging from this photo, I may be too late....

Do you think some of those people were actors in the movie, Wag the Tail? Very suspicious.

Doesn't the guy wearing american flag undershorts realize if GWB should succeed in exporting our brand of freedom to them, he would rip those off him as his first constitutional admendment?

As your link pointed out, how refreshing it was for Bush to see flag-waving supporters after being booed all over europe. How convenient our media doesn't show the protestors, but concentrates on little Albania. I bet a lot of advance prep work went on there beforehand. ~~ D.K.

The Albanians have a long history of being influenced and/or dominated by anyone with superior fire power. In light of that, they have developed the fine art of ambiguity. Their national mascot is the chameleon.

Thanks for posting this as example of that during Bush's recent visit where dumb shit western media mistook a U.S. flag mounted backwards on a staff (as illustrated by the woman holding one on the left in this bottom photo) as blind love/allegiance to or for the U.S.

But the displaying of a foreign flag mounted in such a manner by Albanians really means "Fuck You... (Nation X)...which in Tuesday's case translates as "George Bush".

While not a nation in the true sense of the word, in the case of the U.S., George Bush IS THE U.S.

OK, must go watch the latest version of "Survivor" that I taped.

I say we give him to those fuckers! We don't need or want him. Lets see what they have for a good trade. Ask if they have over 3000 lives in trade for that asshole! That's a good start. We need to remember to ask if the have a constitution for us in the trade. We had one, but someone seems to have spotted up the wording with splotches of shit!
