Bush uses bin Laden quotes for war rally

Washington- Quoting repeatedly from Osama bin Laden, President Bush said Tuesday that pulling U.S. troops out of Iraq would fulfill the terrorist leader's wishes and propel him into a more powerful global threat in the mold of Adolf Hitler. Full story here.

Love the pic dude!!! I am doing a series on the 14 pts of fascism..its a reprint of a group of bloggers. I figure Bush and his boyz started the shit..I am gonna take them up on the "what is facist" question..
I think it's the old political trick of calling your opponent what you really are. That way, if we use it, then they say, "No, you are" and we say, "No, you are". We'll fool them though, 'cause we know a lot of words and they don't.

They are trying to make America wet its pants in fear of the boogie man coming back and getting them. What a bunch of wimps our country is trying to produce. Why do they want us to look like frightened children? What happened to the "home of the brave"?
peacechick is pretty on it. Let's look at their track record: You can pretty much gauge in which direction modern Republicans intend to go by what they're accusing their opponents of. In this case, they're screaming "fascism!" about a foreign enemy to distract from their lurchings in that direction at home.
PS: Oh god, volumes could be written about what is wrong with Nedra Pickler. That woman should not have a job...

and yea, what is this pushing hitler again - he keeps getting slung back and forth between the reds and the blues...
if you look at history - we've had some kind of hitler-like person before he came onto the scene and afterwards...
we need to figure out how to stop this and not just sling words around...

Great point, as usual. I guess it's easier to control the masses through fear and, at the same time, giving them a hugely false sense that you'll "protect" them from the evil-doers. What a joke.

They've really latched onto the Hitler nipple right now and are sucking it up for all it's worth. The only problem is they didn't seem to realize that the whole Hitler/Nazi image more closely describes what they're up to than anyone else they're trying to project it onto. I wonder if they realize most of us can see through all of that?
The republicans are on a fast train that is about to derail, and they know it. They are so used to being on the offense, that being on the defense now has really screwed their heads up.
The school yard bully is looking at all the little kids getting tired of it, and are ganging up on him. Time to back that bully down and kick his ass!
