Impeach

I didn't get time to do the Impeach thing on my blog today because I was too busy doing this...

Last night at around 11:00PM...paint drying on cardboard.

U.S.101 Northbound....side-of-the-road view

U.S. 101 Northbound .... snarled-in-traffic view.

U.S. 280 Southbound .... and most of the surrounding area, for that matter. This is the largest sign I've made yet. Letters are about 2 and a half feet tall.

These signs (and others that I couldn't get shots of) were put up at around 5:00 AM this morning. I was happy to see them still up while driving home this afternoon around 3:30 PM. I wonder how many people saw them in that length of time?

I wasn't the only one doing it, either. It was a nationwide effort. Check this out. And this.

Have a great weekend, everyone.

Great job, PT! I forgot about the Impeach screen today too. . .

Thanks, John. Looking around it seems quite a few of us didn't get around to it.

I did Marin - about a dozen signs. Overkill really... one good sign per freeway per direction is all it really takes. Thanks for getting the 280 and the 101, I'll swing through tomorrow...

The Marin pics look great. I'll be putting more signs up on Sunday as a third wave after yours, to round out the weekend.

Man, quite impressive.
I saw my 1st freeway blogger sin. I went down to Takoma Park MD. to take my Pa inlaw shopping. On the inner loop(495 surrounding DC) I saw ta sign, it read "IMPEACH HIM,".
Made my day.

I'm gonna try to get down to DC in a few days in support of Camp Democracy.

Peace.

Thanks, Human. I saw something about that Camp Democracy. I'll have to read up on it.

Nice work! our big sign lasted less than an hour and you could tell by the remains that it was torn down with prejudice. Just got back from the vigil we had in El Cajon and had some good response to that and just a few negative comments, no real foaming at the mouth like last time. I'm going to post more both Saturday and Sunday. thanks for the link! peace, peter

Thanks, Mary. The freewayblogger community appreciates your support. Now, if we could just get you out there doing it...

Most excellent my friend! How many people saw them? Oh...Methinks the answer is proportional to George W's hubris! Very nice...

You probably reached more people in one hour than I would have putting up one at my blog. But Trollwatcher put up his version over at The American Insurgency

Poetryman,
I'd like to think so as well. And thank you.

Lew,
Loved the link to that photo. I left a comment over there. Thanks.

Sumo and Enigma,
Thank you both for your very kind words. I'll be putting more signs up today. Time to get out in the yard and paint 'em up. Take care.

PT,

OK so I am late to the party. Working nights can be a real bitch. But I have atoned myself for my failure to be able to help. My latest post is on Impeachment like you would expect a former Marine to do. So I hope this works till I get some Bayou Blogging in effect. I noticed you got a gander at my plan for homeland security. I think it really a bold and workable plan. ;)

Till later, remember the Katrinacrat's motto: Katrina blew, Bush sucks!

Writing that one down for future reference. Thanks, Donnie. And keep up the great work you're doing. I'll be over in a few to check in on you.
