But, in the positive aspect, maybe this will radicalize more of the queer folks.

I'm sure you all know or at least speculate that I am for the ban on gay-marriage. I'm against sodomy period. It's not meant for us to be with the same sex. It's not a personal preference. It's a sin. Plain and simple. Don't believe me? Read Romans chapter 1. God is not for same sex ANYTHING. I know there are several here that don't believe in God, but guess what? He does exist and one day, you WILL believe. Unfortuantely, all I can do is warn you of His judgment. But if God is against it, we better be against it too.
So if I read Romans, Chapter 1, I'll believe you??? Is there some sort of a mind trick in that chapter?
I read it by the way, so I'm guessing you're referring to the part where they talk about pillowbiters who fornicate. I didn't see any mention of gnashing of teeth, though. That's the part I really hate.

The Bible is a piece of reactionary crap anyway. Throw it away, or use it to balance your desk, or use the paper as toilet supply...read if you're into stories about patriarchy, rape, baby killing and mass murder all in the name of an invisible god!

The bible also says you should not sleep in the same bed with a women who is on her period, it is equated as the same type of "sin."

Actually, it just says not to touch her. I don't recall it saying you're not supposed to sleep in the same bed. Unless you have a reference for that, I apologize. But I don't recall it saying that.
PT, I don't expect anyone to believe ME! What a person believes is a personal choice. I just so happen to follow the Words of Christ as He laid them out in the Bible. But I don't expect anyone else too...unless they want to. I would hope that they would. But I can't make anyone believe what they don't choose to believe.
And actually, I was talking about Romans 1:26-28(KJV) it says:
"For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature; And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one for another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient."
And I believe that Celticfire brought up atheism...There's Bible for that too, Celt...
Psalm 14:1 "The fool hath said in his heart, there is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good."
Psalm 53:1 basically says the same thing.

Actually Glenda, incest is mentioned in the Bible but was punished as will all sodomites and other fornicators and such.
God is love, but His purpose was to die for mankind. He fulfilled that purpose. It wasn't nails that held Him to His cross. It was His love for you and me and the entire world. I would hope that just by reading my comments you wouldn't think I hated anyone. Why, I even love you, Glenda, and I don't even know you. But my prayer is that one day you too will accept Him for who He is, what He was, and what He came here for. And might I add, that our church actually has a mission. CrossRoads Rescue Mission. So I guess that you could say I do feed the poor. Thanks for giving me opportunity to share that!
