Glenda, when I'm putting the signs up, I feel like you're all there cheering me on. Thanks for the support and encouragement.
Mr. Kramer, sir. The Department of Homeland Security has much more pressing matters to attend to (like surfing the web looking for children to have sex with) than to worry about little old me hanging up cardboard signs. Besides, they only deal with the main bridges like the Golden Gate. Bridges that are too big for my signs (or are they?).
NO shit! These are great!!! I didn't know you put them up yourself...
Some questions:
1. How long do they stay up before someone tears them down?
2. Do you ever get negative reaction from people?
3. If you do get negative reaction to you want to kill them right there on the spot, no questions asked, like I do?
Some Bush supporter put up a giant - and I mean HUGE – Bush/Cheney sign down the road from where I work. Now, I’m not an advocate for stealing or destroying political signs, but they couldn’t keep that sign up for a full day without someone throwing a tomato at it, graffitiing it, and someone even drove a hole through it. They’d keep replacing it with a new one every couple of days, and the same stuff would happen. I couldn’t help but laugh, considering someone destroyed by Kerry/Edwards lawn sign three times.
If I had caught them I’d probably be writing you from prison. I’m not kidding.
Human, I enjoyed the police riot video. Very good stuff. Thank you.
Jeremy, good to see you here again. Let's see, in answer to your questions,
#1. Usually hours, but sometimes days or even weeks.
#2. I'm assuming you mean a negative reaction from someone as I'm physically putting the sign up, and the answer is no. I've only run across a couple of people while hanging them and they reacted indifferently.
#3. See #2, but if it did happen, I'd happily explain to them why I thought it was important for me to do it and tell them that they should think it's important as well, even if they don't agree with my opinion.
All that anger is going to eat you up inside, Jeremy. Hang some signs on the freeway and let it all out for the world to see. It'll make you feel better, trust me.
