The Gospel According to PT

It's a beautiful day today in the San Francisco area so I decided to get up off my lazy ass, load the car up with some signage and hit the road with my main man, J.C. as my co-pilot.

Jesus told me that he wanted to help me get the message out to some of his mis-guided followers that he most certainly does not support acts of war, even wars against non-Christian types. He wishes everyone would remember his true message of Peace.

So off we went....

Not too bad for a day's work. What do you think, Jesus?

"You da man, PT !!"

Amen to that, Jesus. Now let's all bow our heads and ask the good Lord to protect these signs from evil.....

Dad,
You are fierce. FIERCE, I say.

I saw a sign that said "The War is a Lie" on the way to work today. Your son-in-law and I thought of you.

WWJD, indeed.

Thanks, "Daughter".

"The War is a Lie" would be one of my mentor's signs. Between the two of us, we keep the Bay Area well informed of our displeasure with this war.

Yeah, I told him it wasn't you but one of your freewayblogger pals.

Subversive!

What's for dinner Thursday?

Sick 'em buddy. WWJB? My new favorite is "Rebuke Bush" and it looks cool on a sign.

pt, this is some great work! While Jesus loves us all, I suspect he has favorites, hence my favorite. "Jesus loves some of you"

But I'm blown away by "Who would Jesus democratize". Christ (whoops, sorry Jesus!), that takes a lot of paint (not to mention time). Great job.

Of course, you know pt, when Bush finally achieves absolute power, you are soooo gone.

Be proud and we who appreciate you will be proud too. And one day we will be able to say, "We knew him - before he suddenly disappeared."

Thank you, Mary.

Donnie,
I'm looking forward to seeing "Rebuke Bush" down there in the Bayou and on your blog.

Dada,
I'm particularly fond of that "Jesus Loves Some of You" sign. Hopefully it gets people to think. And I can't stop laughing thinking of all the people it pisses off.

Of course, you know pt, when Bush finally achieves absolute power, you are soooo gone.
When that happens, I'll be gone either way. If they don't catch me, I'll be in exile plotting the coup.

Sumo,
Deep down inside, you know you want Pat to pray for you.

Mike,
These are Jesus-Approved© signs and he told me that he would like it if more people put them up, so have at it, my good man.

Michael,
Thank you. No, I haven't heard the song but I'll definitely have to look it up now that you're brought it to my attention.

Way to go, PTCruiser.

I met the Freeway Blogger a couple years ago and we made signs in my garage. I did a little freeway blogging in my area (Orange County, CA) but it's been awhile - maybe this summer I'll get back into it.

Funny, I have that first image (of Jesus and the white collar dude) as a magnet on my fridge.

I am glad Jesus is your trusted friend and co-pilot, and in my heart I believe he is backing your in your efforts 100%.

You are a hero of mine, and an inspiration. Once my back is good enough for me to get around without pain, I WILL get some more signs up around this area, and I know some others who will help me do it. My signs will simply say "Impeach Bush", "Impeach Cheney", "Impeach Gonzales" or "Impeach the Bush Administration". But I'd like to get about ten of them up in visible places.

My daughter has a fun bumper sticker that says "God was my co-pilot but we crashed in the mountains and I had to eat him". She also has one that reads "Real men love Satan". I think I have done a decent job raising this youngster!
