I still had some signs left over from this past weekend's painting party so, in keeping with one of my favorite sayings, "It is better to give than to receive", I decided to share them with the public yesterday....
I put upone of our "Got Bin Laden?"s on a fence next to the 80 in Sacramento three days ago. It's right alongside the freeway on a broad left-banking turn so everyone, I mean everyone, sees it. Sure looked good this morning.
Thanks for the competition by the way, I was getting lazy there for a bit...
Thanks everyone. Your support of what I'm doing out there means an awful lot to me. As Scarlet mentioned above, it's easy to get lazy about this stuff. I sometimes think to myself, "Why do I keep bothering to do this when they're going to get ripped down anyway?" Then I load up my blog on the computer and see your responses to it and that gives me at least one good goddamn reason to get out there and do it. So, thank you.... from the bottom of my bleeding liberal heart.
Excellent work. Just saw a promo for some History Channel show: "The Hunt for bin Laden." Can you imagine it? The near impossibility of finding the only 6+ft. tall, bearded, beturbaned Saudi dragging dialysis equipment through the mountains bordering Pakistan? Tough order, that.
PS I like the Impeach thing from a couple of posts ago. I may very well participate.
I've been looking for the appropriate spot to place some signs on Hwy 99. I've recently discovered a fellow blogger that lives nearby and I'm pretty sure she'd be up to doing it with me. I look at it as safety in numbers...if you know what I mean. It's Dusty (Moment in Time)...she's quite outgoing and I think we could have some major fun...I can even sew some vests for us...which btw is a very good idea for obvious reasons. Thanks for stopping by...
I hear ya, Teh. I figure bin Laden must be living here in the U.S. and that's what made them go full steam ahead on illegally wire-tapping american citizens.
Sumo,
I think the two of you will find that it's a lot of fun. Make sure you take pictures of your work and send them to freewayblogger@yahoo.com Be careful. After the first fifty or so, it gets addictive. Quite a rush that stuff is.
I have to give you an open challenge. I challenge you to give me something to put up as a blogger highlight on The Democratic Daily. With pics if you will. Up to three will be fine. I plan to give the same challenge to Scarlet. So let the both of you give me your best.
Email me at the address on my profile when you want me to post something. You can just mail me the info, and I will get it up.

On that one, Jesus loves some of you, you could add, but he's pissed at the rest of you.
